Terms & Conditions of Registration

Payment Terms

  • Registration will only be confirmed once full payment, proof of payment, or an official purchase order has been received prior to the commencement of the training or conference.

  • Independent Training Management reserves the right to refuse admission, withhold certificates, and withhold CPD points where payment has not been received in full by the due date.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing and received at least ten (10) working days prior to the scheduled event date.

  • Cancellations received within ten (10) working days of the event will not be eligible for a refund and the full invoiced amount will remain payable.

  • Delegate substitutions are permitted at no additional cost, provided written notice is received prior to the event.

Programme Changes and Force Majeure

  • Independent Training Management reserves the right to amend event dates, venues, content, or speakers where circumstances beyond its reasonable control necessitate such changes.

  • In the event of cancellation or postponement due to force majeure, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, extreme weather conditions, industrial action, or other unforeseen circumstances, Independent Training Management will endeavour to reschedule the event.

  • The client agrees that Independent Training Management shall not be held liable for any additional costs, losses, or damages incurred as a result of such changes or cancellations.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

  • The parties hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Fees and Pricing

  • All fees quoted are exclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.

  • Early bird rates apply only where payment is received on or before the advertised early bird closing date.

  • Bulk discounts do not apply to early bird rates unless explicitly stated in writing.

  • All invoiced amounts must be settled in accordance with the payment terms to qualify for discounted pricing.

No-Show Policy

  • Delegates who fail to attend the training or event without submitting written cancellation notice in accordance with the cancellation policy will be deemed no-shows and will be liable for 100% of the invoiced amount.

  • No refunds, credits, or transfers will be granted for non-attendance.

 

Indemnity and Limitation of Liability

  • The client hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Independent Training Management, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from participation in any training or event, except where such liability is attributable to gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

  • Attendance and participation in training programmes are undertaken at the client’s own risk.

 

 

 

Binding Agreement

  • Submission of the booking or registration form constitutes a legally binding agreement between the client and Independent Training Management and signifies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full.

  • Independent Training Management reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time, with the most current version published on its website taking precedence.
